Show me another »One Reason We Are Returning The The Moon?
My brother told me that he was watching a show on The Discovery Channel and they were talking about why we were returning to the moon was because they discovered something there on one of the other trips that will help every man, woman, and child on Earth. He was very vague concerning the show. Does anyone know what he is talking about that might have seen the show the other night also? Please don`t just write crap. Serious posters only.

well I don't know about the show but MIT has been working on something huge regarding the moon. The surface of the moon contains substances that are extremely useful in fusion reaction and the biproducts of the reaction are hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen and so in preparation from colonization they are designing a mining machine that can harvest the first few inches of dust. The original time frame was 2042 but they are behind schedule
